The abridged version:
I am 30. I am a redhead. I am a woman. I am a worker. I am a wife. I am an only child. I am passionate. I am impatient. I am a good listener. I am weird. I am a homebody. I am blunt. I am nurturing. I am selfish.
I love music. I love food. I love design. I love driving. I love traveling. I love reading. I love sleeping. I love being silly. I love the outdoors. I love my friends. I love my family.
The sesquipedalian version:
I was raised primarily by my mother, but my stepdad is also a very important role model for me. My real dad has been in and out of my life for the past 20 or so years. I technically only have two sets of grandparents, but by marriage I actually have three. I also have a surrogate family that has "adopted" me into their clan as well :)
I am currently working full time as administrative assistant at an accounting firm. I received my diploma from SFASU in May 2005. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, with a Minor in General Business. I am proud of this fact, despite the fact that I'm not working in my field.
I am living in the Alexandria, Louisiana area these days. I've been here about two years, and so far, I love it here. I love our house. I love the people I'm meeting. I love the things I get to do here. My husband is from this area, and many of my favoritest people are from here. We were married 11/24/2007, and we're expecting our first child late August/early September. My life is finally starting to come together, and I can't think of a time when I've been happier with so many aspects of my life.
When I am not at work, I like to spend time with my husband, watch TV, listen to music, read, surf the web, cook (but *not* clean), eat, watch a good Netflix movie, sit out on the patio, work out (okay, maybe not), knit, crochet, make jewelry, sing, waste time, make icons, design on my website, take pictures. I'm still very much a kid at heart. I like to create things, and I love giving those things to people who appreciate them. I'm really a very boring person with a vivacious personality.
